Overview
The home page is the first page you see after signing in. It puts anything waiting on you at the top, then your company's details and upcoming deadlines, then a card for each part of your account.
Action Required
If your accountant is waiting on you, an Action required list appears at the top. Each row is one thing to do, with a button that takes you straight to it: Upload documents, Complete form, Review & sign or Pay invoice. When there is nothing to do, the list doesn't appear.
Your Company
The large card shows what your accountant holds for your company:
- Company details: company number, VAT number and other tax references, year end and registered office, with buttons to copy them. See Your Company Details and Tax References
- Companies House: your company's status, current officers, people with significant control, shareholders and nature of business, as Companies House records them
- Upcoming deadlines: your next filing dates, such as your confirmation statement, annual accounts and tax returns, with how many days are left. Overdue ones show in red
- Your team: your contact at your accountant's
Filing History and Past Officers
Click Filing history and past officers under the Companies House details to see every officer (including those who have resigned), people with significant control and your company's recent filings. Click a filing marked with an eye icon to read it without leaving the portal, or All filings on Companies House for the full history.
Your Account
Below your company, Your account has a card for each part of the portal, such as Messages, Documents, Invoices and Progress. Cards show a count and, where something needs doing, what it is and when it is due. Click a card to open that page.
At the bottom, Recent activity lists the latest things that have happened on your account. Use the button on its right to collapse or expand it.
If you look after more than one company, click your name in the top-right corner and choose the company to switch to. The whole portal then shows that company.
