Overview
Your accountant may send you a form to collect information, such as details for a tax return or a new service. You fill it in on the portal, it saves as you type, and you submit it when you are ready. Your accountant then reviews it and either accepts it or asks you to change specific answers.
Finding Your Forms
Open Documents → Forms, or use Complete form in the Action required list on your home page. Forms are grouped into:
- To complete: forms waiting for your answers
- With your accountant: forms you have submitted that are being reviewed
- Completed: accepted, cancelled or declined forms
A form shows its due date, in red if it is overdue.
Filling In a Form
- 1Click Continue on the form
- 2Answer the questions. Each answer saves on its own, and Saved shows when it has
- 3Click Submit form when you have finished
You don't have to finish in one go. Click Save & exit and come back to it later with Continue.
When Your Accountant Asks for Changes
If your accountant needs something changed, the form moves back to To complete marked Changes requested. Click Make changes. A note at the top lists the answers to look at and why. Edit those answers and submit again; your other answers stay as they were.
Changing a Form You Have Submitted
Some forms let you reopen them for a short time after you submit. If yours does, the form shows how long is left and a Reopen button. Click Reopen, then Reopen form to confirm, make your changes and submit again.
If a form doesn't apply to you, click Decline this form at the bottom. Your accountant is told, so they can follow up with you.
