Overview
Your accountant can publish news to everyone using the portal: reminders about upcoming tax deadlines, changes in the rules, or updates about their own practice. The latest post appears as a banner across the top of the portal, and every post is kept on the news page.
The News Banner
When your accountant publishes something new, a banner with its title and the first few lines appears below the menu on every page.
- Click the title, or Read more, to read the whole post
- Click the cross on the right to hide the banner. It stays hidden on that device until your accountant publishes another post
Reading All Posts
- 1Open Resources → News and updates
- 2Scroll through the posts, newest first. Each shows who wrote it and when
If there is nothing here yet, the page says No news posts yet.
News posts go to all of your accountant's clients, so they won't mention your own figures. For anything about your own affairs, send your accountant a message.
